“How SMEs compete for the few AI specialists”
Germany’s leading and most renowned business magazine WirtschaftsWoche has shed light on the current competition between SMEs to recruit the few AI specialists available out there. For his article, WirtschaftsWoche editor Stefan Hajek gathered statements from SMEs, consultancies as well as AI-developers.
With Ramin Assadollahi, Stefan Hajek discussed the specific tasks for AI experts. Ramin, for example, explained that contrary to the general perception, the role of AI specialists is to collect and structure data than to actually program AI-algorithms. Furthermore, Ramin depicted that especially in the fields of insurance, AI can help to replace trivial processes – for example when it comes to finding and listing previous customer correspondences.
