The leading German daily newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung reviewed the German AI industry in its 22 April 2017 issue, naming ExB, along with Celonis and Scopevisio as ground-breaking German firms working in this key field. The article highlights how data mining, deep learning and artificial intelligence are not only “the next big thing”, but are already helping businesses solve problems.

Quoting ExB CEO Dr. Ramin Assadollahi, “Deep Learning is not a magic wand, it’s a toolbox […] You have to understand your problem first before using your tools.” It also underlines ExB’s tools for working in research areas where the daily publication volume may be greater than what a usually person reads in their lifetime, as well as its activities in intelligent medical image processing with Charité Hospitals and major pharmaceutical concerns. ExB offers access to powerful AI algorithms to users of standard laptops for prices described as “comparable to a middle-sized car”, and a business-to-business sales strategy of working with companies to solve their specific problems, while other AI firms don’t provide off-the-shelf software.
